First, the id for it is without the period,
http://www.archive.org/details/HalfLife2CrowbarRunNext, you currently have it checked out, which can keep it in suspended animation. Check it back in and we may be able to take it from there.

Re: My Item is in the wrong collection. What can I do? |
I'm trying to check it in but it doesn't seem to get past this part:
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/9751/archiveorgproblemwv7.jpgedit:
Please delete this item. It looks like it is unsalvageable. I started a new item and I'm only going to upload the smallest video file for now. If it only gives me the "Open Source Movies" option in the drop-down box when I'm checking it in I'll take a screenshot of it and wait for advice on how to make sure it gets into the "Game Videos" collection.
edit2:
I have finished uploading the smallest video file into the new item, which is 'HalfLife_2_Crowbar_Only_Speed_Run'(link:
http://www.archive.org/details/HalfLife_2_Crowbar_Only_Speed_Run ). Here is a screen shot of the collection choice screen:
http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/5143/itemscreenshotgx3.jpgI have the movie dropdown box expanded and it is only showing "Open Source Movies". Now that I know changing the item's collection isn't easy, I won't go past this point until we find a way to display other collections in the movie category.
Also I just want to make a note that the audio and text sections are also stuck on their open source equivalents, so whatever is affecting the movie drop down box to be stuck is probably also affecting the audio and text dropdown boxes as well. While my item is a video, the etree/music dropdown box appears to be working fine though:

I thought that this could be a problem with Firefox (I'm using version 2.0.0.14, btw), so I opened the page with Internet Explorer 7 to see if that fixed the dropdown box, but I didn't have any luck:

Re: My Item is in the wrong collection. What can I do? |
Thanks. I kind of wished someone told me that sooner. There's no mention on the main website or FAQs explaining default collections, collection restrictions, collection curators, or anything like that. Kind of makes me wonder what surprises I will run into next. Well it looks like my item at
http://www.archive.org/details/HalfLife_2_Crowbar_Only_Speed_Run is pretty much set. I have my comments and credits and all I need to do is upload the higher quality versions which is only a matter of time.
